    As a Procurement Manager, you’ll use your procurement and contracts knowledge to help power Toyota Connected.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with internal engineering team to develop and execute vendor sourcing strategies
    • Build and manage a portfolio of high performing technology and professional service vendors
    • Lead complex Request for Proposal/Request for Quote bidding process
    • Create purchase orders
    • Manage Labor Contracts/SOWs and vendor MSAs
    • Manage vendor processes and methods to approve vendors
    • Monitor vendor performance and provide performance improvement plans
    • Maintain strong vendor relationships
    • Manage vendor processes with direct interaction with internal business group Directors and VPs
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and legal teams to understand business requirements
    • Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute Master Service Agreements and Non-Disclosure contracts
    • Serve as the company’s point of contact for contractual matters
    • Prioritize contracts for legal team
    • Keep track of progress on all contracts and provide status updates to business teams
    • Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
    • Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
    • Ensuring final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations
    • Work with Risk Management Department, Privacy Counsel, Outside Counsel to ensure compliance to general laws
    • Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate

     

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years as a Vendor Manager responsible for engineering products and services
    • Experience drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and Non-Disclosure contracts
    • Technical knowledge of engineering, hardware, and/or manufacturing products
    • Strong verbal and written communicator
    • Organized, detailed-oriented, likes to read
    • Skilled in negotiations, vendor selection process, and vendor performance management
    • Capable of anticipating industry trends and analyzing vendor capabilities
    • Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of technology vendor’s total cost of ownership
    • We think the knowledge acquired earning a degree in business, economics, or supply chain management would be of great value in this position, but if you're smart and have the experience that backs up your abilities, for us, talent trumps degree every time
